My take on the super popular and viral Mediterranean Baked Feta Pasta dish! By now I think almost everyone and their cousin have seen or heard about this viral pasta recipe. Baked feta pasta is a super quick, easy and yummy Mediterranean recipe. It’s creamy, cheesy, salty, tangy and tasty – no wonder it has become so popular. All you need is an oven dish, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese and pasta. You can add any extra veggies or protein you like! Don’t miss out on this creamy vegetarian friendly pasta dish!
After seeing so many videos, posts and recipes for this baked feta pasta I finally caved and wanted to give it a go for myself. Is it actually as good as everyone says it is?
Yes…..it did not disappoint!
It came out great, it was creamy, cheesy, salty and savoury! If you are not new here you already know I had to throw in a chilli and some extra seasoning to elevate this somewhat boring dish!

What do i need?
The beauty of this pasta dish is that you really can add any vegetables or even protein of your choice to give the dish your own flavour and flare. For me a must have missing ingredient was definitely chilli and some more fresh and dry seasoning.
A block of feta cheese is the first thing you will need. I love this organic one from Odysea at Waitrose.
Good quality cherry tomatoes are a must. Try to avoid tomatoes grown in Spain or Holland as these are often tasteless greenhouse grown tomatoes with little to no flavour. Try and buy locally grown or Italian tomatoes most major supermarkets in the UK sell both. Lidl have already started stocking British grown tomatoes – be sure to check them out.
For the vegetables I used 1 red onion which I sliced. I also added garlic, green beans, olive oil, black pepper, mixed herbs and fresh basil.
I love me some chilli and spice so I used 1 mild red chilli a pinch of cayenne pepper and paprika. This added just the right amount of spice to this dish.
Serving Suggestions –
The thing I love most about this dish is how quick and easy it is to prepare. But another thing to love is that you can forget about the pasta all together and simply make a really lovely creamy feta dip. Why not give it a try and serve with some warm pita bread or crackers. Baked Feta Pasta
The famous Tik Tok viral pasta dish made with baked feta and tomatoes to produce a creamy flavour packed sauce!

300gblock of feta cheese
1tbspchopped basilor 4 leaves
Wash the tomatoes, mince the garlic and slice the red onion. Place all the ingredients into an oven dish together with a generous amount of olive oil and the dried seasonings. Use a spatula to combine everything together well.
Make a space in the centre of the dish and place the feta block in the middle. Put the dish into a pre heated oven at 180°C and bake for 10 minutes.
Bring a saucepan of water to the boil and cook your pasta until al dente about 10-12 minutes.
Once the 10 minutes is up add the chopped green beans and bake for a further 10-15 minutes or until the tops of the tomatoes are browned and burst.
Remove the dish from the oven and use your spatula to combine everything together into a creamy sauce. When well combined add a little pasta water, fresh basil and the pasta, combine well and serve!
