Hot Honey Harissa Chicken Wings

- 10 chicken wings drums and flats
Dry Rub
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried garlic
Hot Honey Harissa Sauce
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp fresh harissa
- ¼ tsp harissa powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp honey
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Wash and prep the chicken wings and cut into drums and flats. Pat dry with kitchen roll and add to a bowl.
In a small bowl add the corn flour and dry rub ingredients mix and add to the chicken wings. Mix together well using your hand or a silicone spatula.
Add seasoned wings to the air fryer basket and cook at 200°C for 20 minutes. Open and shake the basket halfway.
While the wingd are cooking make the sauce by heating the olive oil and adding the minced garlic.
Saute the garlic on medium heat for 2 minutes being careful not to burn.
Now add the harissa, lemon juice and honey and stir. When sauce is smooth and bubbling add the seasoning and adjust to your taste.
Once the wings are done simply transfer to a large mixing bowl pour on the sauce and toss to coat well.
